The ABB FMD-09 is a highly sensitive, in-situ flow measuring device designed for continuous, real-time monitoring of exhaust gas velocity, volumetric flow, temperature, and absolute pressure in pipelines. It is widely utilized in combustion and incineration processes, such as flue gas stacks, due to its robust design and ability to handle high-dust exhaust streams

Measuring Principle: Utilizes a dynamic pressure (Pitot tube) probe and an integrated PT100 temperature sensor to continuously determine differential pressure, calculating the exact flow velocity and volume.
**Integrated Design: **The probe and operating evaluation unit (display and electronics) are contained in one compact, weather-proof housing.
**Velocity Range: **Typically 3 m/s up to 100 m/s (with restrictions, some variants can measure from 2 m/s).
Media Temperature: Standard models operate between -20 to 280 C
Outputs: Provides multiple 4...20 mA analog outputs and digital relay status signals for integration with local DCS or SCADA systems.
