In-Situ Oxygen Transmitter
The MRU OMS 420 is an in-situ analyzer for real-time measurement of oxygen (O₂) and combustibles (COe) in industrial combustion processes. It mounts directly on flue gas stacks to continuously optimize combustion and improve energy efficiency
Product Description
- All combustions with flue gas temperatures up to max. 3,092 °F (1,700 °C)
- (4 different models, Compact / RT / HT & EX)
- Die casting aluminum enclosure with electronics, keyboard, up-front display of O₂ and COe*
- COe measurement without the need of dilution
- Compressed air back-purge for RT / HT and EX model
Specifications
- Measurement PrinciplesO₂: Zirconium dioxide (ZrO₂) sensor(COe): Heated solid electrolyte sensor (measures CO + H_2 + CxHy) without needing dilution)
- Measuring RangesO₂: 0.1 to 25.0% Vol.(COe): 0 to 1,000 ppm
- AccuracyO₂: ±0.2% or ±5% of reading (whichever is larger)(COe): ±50 ppm or ±10% of reading
Response Time< 10 seconds (T₉₀) - Process TemperatureUp to max. 3,092 °F (1,700 °C) depending on the model
- Outputs2× isolated 4 -20 mA analog, 1× digital RS 485 (Modbus RTU)
- Enclosure RatingIP65 die-cast aluminum
Compact Model: Standard in-situ probe for clean, low-dust applications. - RT Model: Features a remote control and display unit (up to 10m away) for environments with high ambient temperatures.
- HT Model: Designed for extreme high-temperature applications (up to 1,700 °C) using a ceramic tube and ejector.
- EX Model: Designed for hazardous areas (Zone 2 / Class 1, Div
- Compressed Air Back-Purge: Recommended for high-dust or dirty flue gas environments.
- Automatic Calibration: Uses a pneumatic unit to automatically check and calibrate span and offset
